Procrastination, good or bad?

There's one thing or another in life people always procrastinate with. Whether it's paying rent or completing a semester long assignment for class, we all tend to have some type of procrastination. Experts define procrastination as a voluntary delay of a certain task although we know we will suffer from it later (Association for Psychological Science). Some people believe that people work better when under pressure or that procrastinating doesn't necessarily hurt you but psychologists indicate that it interferes with pondering and prioritizing things.

So why wait? Chronic procrastinators tend to have problems finishing tasks at hand and it's a gap between intention and action.

Procrastination...why wait?
